2 Magic Questions That Will Rescue You Every Time You Feel Stuck

If you feel like you’re completely stuck and can’t move forward then we need to talk! And please pay attention here because if you truly want to change your current state, I firmly believe I can help you.

Let me start by asking you these important questions, and I want you to write your answers down on a piece of paper. Yes, write it down right now, not for me, for yourself!

Question 1: WHEN DID YOU DECIDE TO FEEL STUCK?

Question 2: WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS STOPPING YOU FROM MOVING FORWARD?

You see, feeling stuck and not moving forward is something YOU are a creator of. Therefore if you can create it, you can also change it. And you don’t need to wait weeks, months or even years to do that. Nor do you need a psychologist either! Let’s assume that you’re really stuck and there’s simply no progress in your life. One of the best things you can do to begin with is to talk to someone who has been where you are… Someone who has been completely stuck in a rut with no visible way out, but is now moving forward and living their life to the fullest potential. DON’T EVER ask for advice or even share your challenges with someone who is struggling as well, because all they will do is pull you down into their own personal dark cave and you will just spend the rest of your days in darkness together! You NEED to be able to speak to someone who is in a positive position to help you. If you don’t know anyone like that, then you can always reach out to me and I will help you.

One of my favourite personal inspirations is Marie Forleo, she always cures my deepest wounds and answers questions which every new entrepreneur  has, especially at the beginning of their journey. In one of her MarieTV episodes she shares a few simple steps on how to overcome the feeling of being stuck and I would love to share them with you…

  1. Be honest with others and especially with yourself about your current situation.
  2. Do your best to get “out and about” so you can be around other people. Don’t wait and try to figure it all out alone.
  3. You MUST take action! That could be reading the right book, attending a valuable seminar, checking your health or maybe going to the gym. Just take action and do something! Start with one simple thing even if it has no relevance to your whole big life plan, it’s progress. Remember small steps are better than standing still.
  4. Don’t sit around waiting to find motivation because it simply won’t appear on its own! There’s a saying and forgive me if this seems a little blunt and to the point but it goes like this… “Losers wait for motivation, winners just get sh*t done!”

And if that doesn’t help (even though it should!), here is another approach, which will help you to kick things off and start moving forward.

Book a 30 min appointment with yourself. Make sure there are no distractions and your flatmates, family members, partner(s), etc., know that you are not available at all during that time. Take a piece of paper and write down what you feel the problem is. If you don’t like your job, then write “I don’t’ like my job”. If you have too much going on and you just can’t complete the majority of your tasks through the day, then write down specifically what you feel the main cause of that is. For example “My boss won’t hire someone to help me at work” Or if you are simply feeling stuck, then write “I am feeling stuck”. The next step is to answer the following question and write it down as well.

“What is the highest purpose of or the main reason for… (insert the problem you’ve just written above)?

Now, answer it, and then ask yourself the following question:

“What is the highest purpose of or the main reason for… (insert the answer from above). Keep asking and answering these questions at least 10-20+ times. Trust the process and let me know how you get on!

You are ready to go! Take action NOW, and you will be amazed at how quickly you will start to see movement in your life and how that movement will increase as time goes by! Remember what I said earlier in this post too…I’m always here to help
